Beginnings

      I woke up just out side of my people's homeland, The Grove. In a small village called Astorea, I took my first steps into the world and began my journey.

   There is so much to Tyria! I have the most general of maps to begin. I am certain, however, that it will become much more detailed as I travel to new places.

      I think, however, I will begin by exploring my own homeland, The Grove, then venture out into nearby Caledon Forest.

      My name is Toirnait. I recently awoke from the Dreaming to answer the Pale Tree's call. There is much danger around, I fear, but I will not stand down from it. The Pale Tree called me forth to protect and defend. So I shall.

      I am still very new to this land of Tyria but an eager to explore and learn as I can. This journal shall be record of my explorations and exploits as I travel down the path the Pale Tree called me forth for and find my place in the sun.
